Founded in 1977 and headquartered in Liberty Lake, Washington, the company maintains a global footprint with 49 sites, including 27 manufacturing locations. Recent developments include the October 2025 agreement to acquire Urbint, Inc. for $325 million to enhance AI-driven operational resilience solutions, expected to close in Q4 2025; the November 2025 agreement to acquire Locusview Ltd. for $525 million to expand digital construction management and resiliency offerings, slated for closure in January 2026; the launch of the Gen6 network platform and updated UtilityIQ application suite in October 2025, introducing multi-transport interoperability, cellular connectivity, and battery-powered mesh for gas and water; a September 2025 marketing partnership with Current Lighting Solutions to integrate CityEdge controls with LED street lighting; and the March 2025 introduction of IntelliFLEX for grid flexibility.
